Touchstones Opening Social an Exciting Success!

On Thursday the 7th of September, Touchstones Journal held their opening social welcoming prospective staff members and writers and artists.  Staff and friends of our sister journal, Warp and Weave also joined the soiree to support our efforts of collaborating with all the journals sponsored by the UVU English Department.   These journals are an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to have their original work published in a peer reviewed publication.

After a rousing game of friendship bingo (if you have not played this game, you are missing out!), staff introductions were made and invitations were extended to those present to join the journal this year as support staff or contributors.  If you missed the opening social, fear not; you can still be a part of this amazing journal! If you are interested in volunteering as a member of staff, visit our Volunteer page.  Do you have an original piece of writing (poetry, prose, creative non-fiction) or artwork that you would like to see published?  Then navigate on over to our submissions page (HERE) and read the requirements.  Note that the deadline for writing submissions is fast approaching – they are due on Sept. 13th by midnight.
